Final Plea…Bake Sale for WorkCamp on Sunday

We are hoping you will all make a special effort to support the bake sale set for Sunday in Narthex to benefit travel expenses for WorkCamp. If you can bake for the effort, thank you! Anything goes! Individual serving items, cakes, pies, muffins, brownies, cookies, candy, etc. The forecast is for it to be warm so probably things that need refrigeration won’t work! The delegation of 24 will be leaving in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, June 25th to make the trek to Brownsville, PA (near Pittsburgh). With 6 vehicles travelling in procession it will probably take them 10-12 hours with pit stops, meals, etc.

Travel costs will be significant so please plan to help as you are able. WorkCampers and chaperones will be commissioned during the service on Sunday at 10am. They will also receive their official WorkCamp tee shirts. (Wait til you see the works of art our talented June Seiser has made!)

Thank you for your continued support of St. Paul’s Youth!

One Response to Final Plea…Bake Sale for WorkCamp on Sunday

Thank you to all who supported the bake sale on Sunday! The baked goods were plenteous; the sales were terrific. Everyone was so supportive of the effort toward travel expenses for WorkCamp 2017. With wishing well donations, bake sale, and a couple of miscellaneous items we have a nice amount to give to chaperones for travel. Thanks. Please remember to pray for our delegation of 24 as they leave early Sunday morning for Brownsville, PA to rehabilitate homes and lives in Jesus’ name. Also note: the leftover cookies were frozen and the youth will take them with them for the trip. Your generosity will be enjoyed for days to come!
