It Was A Great Day For A Picnic!

A big thanks to all of you who came out and celebrated the summer with us at the 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off & Picnic this past Sunday.  We had almost 60 people bring their chairs, blankets, sunscreen and a dish to share as we came together for fellowship and fun.  There were 7 entries for the chili cook-off, ranging from hot & spicy to meaty to vegetarian.  Winning by a landslide was Loretta Hanson.  Congrats Loretta!  Word is you have some competition next year…people are already talking about perfecting their recipes!

A BIG thanks to Sharon Machuga & her committee for organizing this event and to Pastor Mike for organizing all of the “kid games.”  We are looking forward to another picnic event next year!
